1. Who do I contact to get an entry code or optional remote for the gates? Resident's may contact the neighborhood Administrator for assignment of an entry code. Can I fill in or cover the drainage ditch in front of my lot? No. Our parish permit and Convenants and Restrictions require our open ditch drainage system. Though, the drainage ditch on the front of your lot is common area, you must maintain it by cutting the grass and keeping it free of obstructions. However, you can NOT modify the ditches by widening, adding pipes, gravel, fill, etc. 4. When do I need Architectural Control Committee (TWACC) approval and what is the process? 5. What is the approved mailbox design for the Woodlands and where can it be purchased? The board approved the adoption of a single mailbox design for all phases of the Woodlands on April 1, 2007. The standard approved mailbox shown above is a green, wooden mailbox with gold numbers. As of April 1, installing, replacing or modifying a mailbox with anything other than the standard green, wooden mailbox with gold numbers is a violation of the Covenants and Restrictions Southern Mailboxes 985-845-2693 (Contact Kelly Glass, approx. $176 installed) 6. Who is the sole authorized garbage collection company for the neighborhood? SDT Waste became the exclusive garbage collection company for all residents of the Woodlands on September 4, 2007. Collection days are Tuesday and Friday. Please have your SDT provided black can curbside by 5:00 a.m. On Tuesdays, pick-ups are for the black can only while Friday pickups can include one extra bag (96 gals max.) of household garbage or grass clippings. Please be reminded that your garbage can must be stored in a place where it cannot be seen from the street; including the side of your home. The Association has sent notices to the other collection companies that they are not allowed to operate in our subdivision as of September 1, 2007.
